I'm straight as an arrow....and I never have figured out what's the big deal with people's choices or sexuality. I like to look at people for who they ARE, not what others tell me to think. I think Calpernia's the cat's pajamas! I think her friend Andrea is a great gal as well. I don't care if you are gay, lesbian, trans or straight. I care if you find true love in a stupid world where everyone is out to ostracize each other for all the wrong reasons. I like to see people make lasting relationships. That would be good for us all. Call me a dreamer, but I think there's room for all types of people in the world if we could learn to understand each other. I, like you, just think Calpernia's story just shows the resiliency of her spirit in the face of extreme stupidity and hatred. Besides, I don't figure it's my business what people do in the privacy of their own homes. And what's the big deal about at least allowing GLT's to have at least civil unions? You deserve all the benefits that other people seem to think they are entitled to get. There, I'm done ranting now. Hey!
